ABOUT ALEX
ALEX GREENLEE has been performing since the age of 5. His professional credits include: the Broadway Revival Reading of “THE ME NOBODY KNOWS: (Carlos) with Broadway director Stafford Arima (Allegiance) and Taye Diggs (Rent); “SOUND OF MUSIC” (Kurt), and “CAMELOT” (Tom of Warwick, Squire Dap) with California Musical Theatre. Alex originated the role of Captain John Fremont in the musical “SOMETHING INSIDE IS BROKEN” (On Native Ground Productions). Other roles include “AMERICAN IDIOT” (Johnny), “LES MISERABLES” (Jean Valjean), “MISS SAIGON” (Chris), “CATCH ME IF YOU CAN” (Frank,Jr.), “SHREK” (Shrek), “CHILDREN OF EDEN” (Cain/Japeth) and “LEGALLY BLONDE” (Emmett). He is a four time Elly nominee and received the Elly for Outstanding Leading Actor in a Musical for his role as Jean Valjean. Alex is also an award winning tap dancer.
Alex Greenlee is an award winning filmmaker (IMDBPRO). His latest film, “INTREPIDUS” stars Michael Horse and Justin Rain and features the work of Santino Ferrese (Emmy Star Trek: Discovery). His films “DEAD WALL”, “CYBOLICA” “UNHEARD VOICES” and “OUT OF THIS WORLD” have received numerous awards. For the second year in a row Alex has been recognized as a “Best Director” at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.
